The Ministries of Justice, External Relations and Tourism of Brazilpublished a joint decree establishing a visa waiverfor tourism to nationals of Australia, Canada, United States and Japan duringthe periodfrom June 1st to September 18, 2016.

Nationals of the abovecountries willing to benefit from this visa waiver must enter Brazil from June1st to September 18 2016. They will not be required to prove the purchase oftickets to the Olympic Games in order to benefit from the visa waiver. Afterentering Brazil, tourists can stay without a visa for a maximum period of 90 days.

From September 19 2016 onwards, the visa regime for the countriesmentioned above will return to be the same as usual.The unilateral visawaiver is solely and exclusively applicable to citizens of the aforementionedcountries who will visit Brazil for tourism purposes only in that specificperiod.Citizens of countries that were not included in the joint decreewill need to apply for visas to Brazil in order to attend the 2016 Rio OlympicGames.

韩国法务部昨天（2016年1月27日）表示：

“自28日起，将放宽对中国公民来韩的多次往返签证的年龄限制，由原先的60岁以上降低至55岁以上，一次入境签证的滞留期限由原来的30日延长至90日。

此外，针对律师、大学教授、公司企业代表等专门从业人员或硕士以上高学历者，将首次实施10年的有效签证期。

即，这些人一旦获得签证，将在10年之内自由往返韩国。

2016年是‘韩国访问年’，韩国政府将在今年年底前一直免除签证的手续费用。”
